there isn’t much to explain here. it’s called funky jesus. that already does most of the work.
this track came together during a period of exploration, around the time i first got an edirol midi controller. i was obsessed with how it felt to play the bass parts, hitting the notes hard and letting the groove carry everything else.
really, the song exists because i wanted an excuse to use that bass sound and that controller. it’s playful, a little irreverent, and mostly just fun. sometimes that’s enough.
